Site Info

For the current version, I created the menu graphic in Paint Shop Pro version 8 by using the heart image on the covers of the third book Princess in Love.  I used two fonts; Breast Bomb and Redensek.  I put the frameset together using MS Front Page 2000 and finished the rest of the pages by using MS Front Page 2003.

For this version, I took a screen cap of a deleted scene from the Princess Diaries DVD.  I put it in and resized it, and added some transparent bubbles and a pixelated brush from vbrush.  I used a font called 'Edwardian Script ITC'.  I used MS Front Page 2000 to put it all together.

As for the content, many of the book covers come from Amazon, and I decided to take the screen caps of the trailer myself using Quicktime Pro.  The movie posters and DVD cover art comes from searches on Google.

Blue layout

For this version I used the font called 'Script MT Bold' which I found on my computer at work.  I used two pictures obtained by doing an image search on Google.  I fixed the pics up and put them all together using PSP 8.  I made the background using PSP's Blinds feature.  It will look best in an 800x600 resolution.  I used MS Front Page 2000 to put everything together.  This one lasted a really long time due to the fact that I had upgraded my computer hardware, then formatted the hard drive, installed Windows XP and had to reinstall all my programs!  But it's all been worth it!

The peach layout

For this version, I used pictures from the BBC online.  I put it all together using Paint Shop Pro v8.  I made a separate background (if for some reason it doesn't show up, e-mail me) using PSP.  Fonts used are 'Soopafresh' from Fontalicious and 'Edwardian Script ITC'.  I also used MS Front Page 2000 to put it all together.  It was optimized for a resolution of 1024x768, but looked okay in 800x600.  It also looked pretty good in the latest versions of Netscape and IE.

Second layout.

This is the original layout.  Actually, this is the second one, but changed a bit to look nicer.  I don't have the original anymore.  Below is what I wrote about this layout.

I used a trial version of Adobe Photoshop 4.0 to make the header graphic (which is plain, but functional and better than gigantic text).  I also used MS Front Page 2000 to create all the pages.  The information in this site come from Amazon.co.uk, my copies of all four books released in the US (I typed up the jacket summaries myself...as I finished typing the last one, I realized that they were already on Meg Cabot's website, but oh well), and archived versions of MegCabot.com.

This website is so plain that it will probably look good in any browser.

There are other young royals who live lives similar to Mia's.  I have a website all about them, if you want to visit.  I also have an MSN group based on young royals.  E-mail me for any corrections, suggestions, or comments.
