Some PD10 Info
These may be mildly spoilerish, by the way. Meg gave an interview to the Book Chic. Here is the text:
2) I know that you've been finishing up PD10: Forever Princess lately. Can you
tell us anything about it, plotwise? Cryptic messages are welcome.
Actually
Princess Diaries 10 is done. Here's the flap copy I can reveal (some of it
is still top secret--sorry, I can't even give you a hint):
It's the
last month of Mia's senior year, and things seem great. She's gotten accepted to
her dream college(s), and has her blowout eighteenth birthday gala coming up…not
to mention prom, graduation, and Genovia's first-ever elections.
What's not
to love about her life? Well…
-- Prince Phillipe's campaign in the Genovian
elections isn't going well, thanks to the person who's decided to run against
him (hint: It's NOT Grandmere, who now that Mia is finished with Princess
Lessons desperately needs to get a life of her own).
--Mia's dreamy boyfriend
J.P. is so sweet and seemingly perfect. But is he the one?
--Mia's first
love, Michael, is back from Japan…and back in her life.
With not just
Genovia's, but her own future hanging in the balance, Mia's got some choices to
make…which college, which guy…? How can she know what the right decision is,
especially when what she decides might determine not just the next four years,
but…
….Forever!
3) How is the Princess Diaries side project coming along; will it
be released around the same time as PD10?
The side project (an adult book
written by a Princess Diaries character and which will be published by Avon
Books) is done and will be released on the same day as Princess Diaries 10.
Both books will come out January 6, I believe.

My predictions - she will ditch JP for Michael, they'll go to the prom, they'll have sex and Prince Phillipe will lose the elections. And she won't make up with Lilly.
As for the book, I think it's Lilly's guide to surviving high school. At least that would make an interesting read.
